Monistat 1 3 7 Reviews - What Is It?

WARNING: DO NOT BUY Monistat 1-3-7 Until You Read This Review!
Is it a Scam? Does It Really Work? Check Ingredients, Side Effects and More! Emily Butler

Monistat 1, 3 and 7 are the products of the same brand used for the treatment of vaginal yeast infections. This is one and the same product, the only difference is the amount of dosages. The first one contains only a single dose, the second - three doses, while the third - seven doses. In general, Monistat is an antifungal agent that works by weakening the cell membrane of the fungus causing death of the fungus. One dose contains 1200 mg of miconazole nitrate, a substance that is said to effectively treat vaginal fungus. Even though it is claimed to be the perfect solution for women who lead an active way of life, many of them report terrible side effects which do not allow them to live normally.

The company behind Monistat 1, 3 and 7 is a badly known company which has an official website, though. However, it doesn't seem to be reliable and informative enough. The company doesn't seem to offer any other products. It means that it is not reputable. Monistat features the so called LESS MESS Ovule, a substance that adheres to the vaginal walls for better work. It stays in place for a long period of time. It is prescription medication, an over-the-counter (OTC) brand that cures the infection in just one day. If you do not feel relief using Monistat 1, you may try Monistat 3 or Monistat 7.

Ingredients of Monistat 1, 3, 7 - Does It Really Work? Is It a Scam?

As it was already mentioned, Monistat 1, 3, 7 are the same products with different doses. This pre-filled ointment miconazole nitrate as the active ingredient. This is the only ingredient listed in the product. There is no information about other additional components, so we are not sure whether the ointment is safe enough for your health. The single dose of miconazole nitrate is said to be a good option for busy women, however, as it can be seen from numerous users' reviews, many women turn out to be extremely sensitive to the main ingredient. Besides, miconazole nitrate is contained in a very high dose (1200 MG). This product includes ointment in ready-to-use pre-filled applicators. Use it as directed on the label.

Monistat 1, 3, 7

According to webmd.com, Miconazole nitrate is the medication used to treat vaginal yeast infections. It reduces vaginal itching, burning, and discharge present with this condition. This drug is an azole antifungal. It works by ceasing the growth of yeast (fungus) that leads to the development of infection. This vaginal product is available in two forms (a vaginal cream or a vaginal tablet). Monistat come in the form of ointment in pre-filled applicators.

It is highly recommended to ask your doctor before starting to use this medication, otherwise self-treatment may turn into a very unpleasant experience. Remember that this medication should be used for vaginal fungal infections only. It should not be applied on other areas of the body. You may have a different type of vaginal infection too. For example, bacterial vaginosis requires a different medication. Contact your doctor as soon as possible if you have chills, fever, flu-like symptoms, a bad-smelling vaginal discharge, stomach or abdominal pain. Stop using this medication immediately, you may have a more serious infection or health condition.

Customer Reviews - Does It Have Any Side Effects?

The manufacturer doesn't give any information on possible side effects or adverse reactions associated with the use of Monistat 1, 3 and 7. However, they do exist and occur quite frequently. In fact, all medicines may cause side effects, some people have minor effects while others may suffer too much. Common side effects of Monistat include mild vaginal irritation, burning, or itching. Ask for medical attention as soon as possible if any of the following severe side effects occur: hives; rash; itching; tightness in the chest; difficulty breathing; swelling of the mouth, lips, face, or tongue); foul-smelling vaginal discharge; fever or chills; nausea; strong vaginal burning, irritation, or itching; vomiting and stomach pain.

Inform your doctor if any of the next side effects become bothersome: lower abdominal cramps, serious headache, vaginal or urethral burning, pain, or itching. A very serious allergic reaction to Monistat is unlikely, but still there is a small risk of having it. Seek immediate medical help if its symptoms occur: itching, rash, swelling, trouble breathing and severe dizziness.

This is not a complete list of possible side effects. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Many reviews about Monistat 1, 3 and 7 are negative. The main concern is the high probability of experiencing unbearable side effects. A lot of women complain of sensation like their vagina is on fire just after using the product. They suffer from intense itch and a strong burning sensation. Some of them claim that it was making their condition even worse. They couldn't get comfortable enough to fall sleep because their vulva was raw. It hurt to have any friction and even to walk. Here are some of the testimonials about the product.

"After using Monistat 1 I felt like a colony of fire ants started living in my vagina. At first, it was itching but in an hour the pain became unbearable. I was looking forward to the morning to feel relief."

"Using Monistat 3 was my biggest mistake of my thirties! I wish I checked the reviews before buying this awful stuff. I inserted the pre-filled application and went to bed. I felt no immediate burning. But about three hours later I woke up with my hands in my pants trying to comfort my vulva."

"I have a YI and I bought Monistat7. After I inserted it, I was fine. It was itching a little, but about 30 minutes later, I felt intense burning. It was driving me crazy. Never again will I ever purchase this product."

Where To Buy Monistat 1, 3, 7?

Monistat can be purchased from the official website. The cost of one dose is $20. It is not cheap, I should say, especially taking into account terrible sensations when using it. The product isn't available on Amazon, Walmart, GNC.

My Final Summary

I cannot recommend using Monistat 1, 3 and 7 categorically for many reasons. The first one is the suffering you are going to experience immediately after using the first dose of the medication. Most of women report feeling awful sensations inside their vaginas. The product doesn't seem to be effective for everyone. Besides, it does not treat all possible vaginal infections. This is a completely chemical drug that costs a lot of money. Taking into consideration all of these drawbacks I cannot recommend Monistat 1, 3 and 7 to usage.

Affordable Alternative

Many doctors consider that the problem can be well solved by another product known as Provestra. I completely agree with them because I study many products of the kind! I recommend you reading my review about Provestra. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
